I notice I am now a 'senior member'. Is there anywhere that I can find out what the different 'ranks' are & when/how they are awarded?

Ranks depend on post counts but we don't take much notice of them, unless your a newbie requesting everything under the sun.

I looked in admin and there isn't any added by us so I think we are using default user rank, going up by number of posts.

Thanks Guisti & Emerald for the answers. It doesn't bother me, I just noticed that my 'rank' had changed and I just wondered.
Emerald, you know how curious (or nosey) I am.

Oh boy. I must have upset someone.
Post count down to 21 from 110+
Rep Power back to 0.
I know when you delete posts you have the option of deleting just the actual post and leaving the count unchanged, or deleting it from the count too.

But hey, it doesn't upset me, just makes me more curious. Have to start asking questions again.

No we don't , if we phisically delete a post of yours it disappears. For further questions the answer is 42 or staff decision.

That would be my fault.

We were having questions from worried members about links in posts by banned members, so to save confusion i deleted all banned members posts. After deleting so many posts it's good policy to update all the board which unfortunately updates the post counts as well.

Ranrad none of your posts were purposely deleted what has happened is that your replies to threads started by a banned member got deleted when the thread went.

If you want i can reinstate your post count but like i said before we don't take much notice of it anyway.

Guisti, thank you once again for your answer. No, don't worry about the post count, I'm happy to be a member, Junior, Senior, pain in the ass, whatever you want to call me.

I'm happy you have deleted all banned members' posts, it saves confusion, and possibly further questions.
Perhaps somebody could advise me whom you're going to ban so I don't put all my posts in their threads. (Joking)

You are right Old Dutch, it is a staff decision to just delete the post, or delete the poster's count as well.

Amazing. Totally off topic, but that's an amazing coincidence.
Only just finished watching the original bbc series of The hitch hikers guide to the galaxy, just 10 minutes ago, which as everyone knows, revolves around the number 42, and ta-da, it turns up here.
Perhaps it was a true story? :confused

Ranrad ... ever thought that you became a Senior member just because you are old?? :th_piratecrew-razz:
hehehe

That is of course possible Jabba.
On your logic that would mean that since I am now back to being a junior member I must be in my second childhood.

Well I had a question. but I see from this thread that ranrad went further down the chain to just a guest, not even a member now. So I am not going to say another word.

We don't bann people for asking , so feel free to ask almost anything. You may have noticed the age of this thread, so don't worry about ranrad beeing a guest.
